School Year Program - Activities Grades JK – 3 There are seven separate rooms for Grades 1 to 3 with a variety of planned activities, as well as the opportunity to choose from a range of free play toys and games. 9+ Program The 9+ program is designed in a less structured way. The children have a direct input into the program planning, which include cooking, outdoor games, sports, computer games, art, drama, fundraising activities and community service. Program Activities Planned activities are approved in advance by the Supervisor to be age-appropriate and encourage the social, cognitive, emotional and physical development of the child. A variety of activities are provided simultaneously so that each child can choose to participate in the planned activity or select another preferred but equally appropriate activity (for example, children have a space provided where they can read or do homework).
